**Responsibilities & Qualifications** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Technical role managing servers, systems, and core IT services supporting network infrastructure. + Install and configure servers to ensure proper functionality and integration with existing systems. + Manage virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation. + Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to maintain high availability. + Implement patches and updates to keep systems secure and up to date. + Maintain security protocols to protect systems and data from threats. + Test backups regularly to ensure reliable data recovery in case of system failure. + Support system migrations by ensuring a smooth transition of services and minimizing downtime. + Document procedures for server setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** + 1 years of relevant experience + Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration + Expertise in Active Directory administration + Experience with hardware and software management + Strong understanding of security fundamentals + Knowledge of virtualization technologies + Skilled in problem analysis and troubleshooting + Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting + Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance **CERTIFICATIONS** + Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent certification. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Expertise in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) administration + Experience with compute and storage systems management + Strong communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction **Overview** We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team supporting USAF Base Infrastructure Modernization.
