The hours for this position are entirely flexible provided that project deadlines are met. The ideal candidate has a positive outlook, very strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to take initiative and think outside of the box.
About the Job:
· Collaborate effectively with the litigation team to develop case strategies and identify key legal arguments, prepare memoranda, briefs, motions, and other supporting documents.
· Complete comprehensive legal research assignments and other projects, as assigned.
· Support litigation/transactional matters by determining applicability and relevance of statutes, case law, regulations, and legal precedent.
· Maintain organized research files and ensure proper citation of sources in accordance with Bluebook or local rules.
· Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Proactively ensure follow-through on key tasks and deadlines.
About You:
· J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
· Active bar membership is preferred but not required.
· Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal databases.
· Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
· Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and act with urgency.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
· Proactive self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work independently.
· Personable, positive attitude, with a polished and professional demeanor.
