Your Role and Impact

The Public Relations Specialist supports the execution of public relations strategies to promote the company's products, brand, and corporate initiatives. This role works closely with the PR Manager and cross-functional teams to coordinate media outreach, develop press materials, and support product launches and events. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for storytelling and experience in media relations and content creation

Day to Day Responsibilities

Media Relations & Communications:

  • Support day-to-day media relations efforts, including responding to media inquiries and coordinating interviews.
  • Draft and edit press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, executive bios, and other press materials.
  • Assist in pitching product news and company updates to media outlets and influencers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.Maintain and update media lists and editorial calendars.

Product PR Support:

  • Collaborate with product marketing teams to develop messaging for product launches and announcements.
  • Coordinate product review programs, including managing sample requests and tracking coverage.
  • Assist in preparing award submissions and customer case studies.
  • Be the liaison between VSA PR and Global PR team in Taiwan and help to coordinate collaboration between regions.

Event & Campaign Support:

  • Support PR activities at trade shows, product tours, and industry events.
  • Work with external PR agencies to ensure alignment and execution of PR plans.
  • Help organize press briefings and media engagements at events.

Content & Social Media:

  • Contribute to the development of blog posts, articles, and social media content that supports PR campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track media coverage and compile regular reports on PR performance and campaign results.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform PR strategies.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a technology or consumer electronics environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the public relations field.
  • Familiar with media databases, press release distribution tools, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with PR agencies is a plus.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Travel : 20% travel: on the road attending events, tradeshows, customer meetings, speaking engagements.
  • Office Presence : Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days local offsite
  • Environment : Normal office conditions.
