Position Summary:

The Volunteer Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our visitors and staff. The incumbent will ensure accurate data entry, answer phones and maintain volunteer records and ensure they are up to date.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous cashiering or cash handling experience
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Demonstrated retail experience with the ability to effectively provide information about products and services
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of UC policies and procedures
