Job Title: Order Entry SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This critical role supports our Regional Sales Managers and ensures a seamless sales process from order entry to post-sales support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Provide comprehensive support to Regional Sales Managers, including order entry, account maintenance, order tracking, and issue resolution.
+ Accurately enter and process sales orders and generate quotes, verifying pricing, inventory availability, and shipping details for timely and accurate order fulfillment.
+ Respond to customer inquiries and assist with purchases, returns, RMAs, and refunds, ensuring a positive customer experience.
+ Maintain and update customer records in the company's CRM and other databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
+ Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales, Operations, and Product Development to address customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
+ Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations using online platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
+ Assist in the implementation and onboarding process for products, ensuring a smooth transition for customers.
+ Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and training sessions as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in order processing and ERP systems.
+ Experience in order entry and customer service.
+ Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Word.
+ Account management and sales support skills.
+ Experience in data entry and maintaining CRM databases.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree preferred with 0-2 years of experience in an office role or customer service. Alternatively, 2+ years of experience in an office setting.
+ Restaurant experience is a plus.
+ Knowledge of ERP systems would be helpful but not mandatory.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams.
Work Environment
This role is based 100% onsite at our corporate headquarters, located in a newer building. The company is dedicated to fostering a positive company culture and hosts multiple events to promote teamwork throughout the year. The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. The team is small, consisting of four individuals and a lead who collaborates closely with the sales team. The environment is friendly and supportive, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements. The role requires independence and the ability to work with minimal supervision while being an excellent team player. The company manufactures credit card reading devices, check scanners, and the associated technical software, promoting innovation and collaboration.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
