About This Role

We’re looking for a creative and strategic Freelance Short Form Video Editor who lives and breathes social media. You’ll be responsible for editing engaging, high-performing content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who understands internet culture, trends, and what actually stops the scroll.  

What You’ll Do:

• Edit short-form content optimized for social media
• Transform long-form content into bite-sized, attention-grabbing clips
• Add dynamic captions, sfx, memes, and motion graphics that enhance storytelling and retention
• Stay on top of platform trends and apply them to content in real-time
• Deliver assets formatted and optimized for each platform

Who You Are:

• Proven experience editing viral short-form videos (please share your portfolio)
• Deep knowledge of platform-specific best practices (hooks, pacing, caption styles, audio trends)
• Proficiency in editing software
• Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for internet culture
• Reliable, communicative, and able to hit tight turnaround times
