Android Developer

Primary Skills

Android Native, Flutter, React Native

Specialization

Android developer : primarily Android development in Java and Kotlin languages.
Cordova / react Mobile/ flutter / other hybrid apps and JavaScript / reactJS development will be a plus.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and Kotlin.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work with third-party APIs and data sources.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and fix bugs and improve application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Android app development.
Proficient in Java and Kotlin .
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Published at least one original Android app in the Play Store.
Knowledge of modern architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
Familiarity with tools like Android Studio, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
