Job Title: Payroll SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for processing weekly union and non-union payroll using CMiC, collecting timesheets, and ensuring timely payroll processing. Your role will also involve reviewing and verifying timesheets with employees and management personnel, compiling data for various reports, processing garnishments, and new hire paperwork, and assisting employees with payroll-related questions. Responsibilities + Process weekly union and non-union payroll using CMiC. + Collect timesheets and all necessary paperwork to ensure timely payroll processing. + Review and verify timesheets with employees and management personnel. + Gather and compile data for union reports as well as monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports. + Process garnishments and new hire paperwork, including I-9s and W-4s. + Assist employees with payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies. + Perform other tasks as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience in payroll processing and data entry. + Knowledge of union payroll and payroll tax regulations. + Proficiency in payroll software and payroll benefits administration. + Ability to perform payroll deductions and reconciliation. + Understanding of payroll accounting principles. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Open to candidates with an Accounting or Finance degree, even with no formal payroll experience. + Union payroll experience is a plus but not required. + Experience with construction industry payroll processing is a plus. + Knowledge of CMiC is preferred but not required. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs quickly. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite in Dublin, CA, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, within a team of four. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $33.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
